    About the Artist:
    Hiro Yamagata (1948-)
    was born in Maihara, Japan and started his career in advertising. He attended École des Beaux-Arts in Paris to launch his career in the arts. He is most well known for his highly detailed screen prints that depict brightly colored parades and festivals. Additionally, Yamagata has been a pioneer using holograms and lasers to create compelling installations. He has exhibited in many major institutions globally, as well as major Ohio institutions. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
