“L’Arlesienne” by Janey Treby depicts a nude woman with her back facing the viewer, looking demurely over her left shoulder and loosely holding a cloth to frame her figure. This large scale, limited edition serigraph on paper uses a neutral palette and ethereal strokes to create a graceful image. With a white mat in a gold frame with leaf details.  Numbered 255/385.

    About the Artist:
    Janet Treby (1955-)
was born to the small village of Bedfordshire, England where she organically discovered her love of nature, leading her to a love of the ethereal. She didn’t waver from her childhood aspiration of being an artist, and was educated at both West Surrey College of Art and Slade College of Art. Inspired by the grace of the human form, Treby uses muted colors in her specialty of etching, serigraphy, and mezzotint to give a dreamlike aesthetic to her body of work. In addition to creating art, she also has taught at West Surrey College of Art and Design, Ruskin School of Drawing in Oxford, Barnfield College in Luton, and Southill Park College in Bracknell.

This serigraph is just one of hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection
