    About the Artist:
    Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971)
was a Danish architect who contributed to functionalism. Though he detested the term “designer”, he is mostly remembered for his product and furniture designs. Inspired by the innovative plywood designs by Charles and Ray Eames, Jacobsen designed many iconic chairs such as the Ant, the Egg, and the Swan.
